The team behind Motek has expanded with Sesame Bakery, A 5,000-square-foot bakery and all-day brunch spot in North Miami’s SoLé Mia development. Owner Charlie Levy and former Balthazar Bakery baker Etai Almog blend Eastern Mediterranean and European flavors across the menu: green shakshuka with Jerusalem bagels and lemon tahini, Moroccan-style bagel sandwiches with matbucha, and a tuna croque madame with truffle bechamel. The space seats 165 between the indoor dining room and bougainvillea-covered patio, where Art Deco-inspired wood accents frame a bakery counter offering pistachio financiers and orange olive oil cake.
