Motek plans to open a waterfront restaurant at the W Fort Lauderdale, marking the Mediterranean concept’s first location in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County.
The 12,000-square-foot restaurant, set to be called Motek By The Sea, will replace the former El Vez space at 401 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. and include 315 indoor and outdoor seats.
‘This is a meaningful step for us, a chance to share our food and our hospitality with a new community in a truly remarkable setting,” founder Charlie Levy said.
“We’re proud to be part of Fort Lauderdale’s future and we can’t wait to open our doors.”
The project is being developed in partnership with Marriott and Blackstone and will expand Motek, a brand operated by Happy Corner Hospitality, to 10 locations across South Florida.
